Welcome to the Serengeti National Park the first Park to be established in 1951 which covers 14,763 square kilometers. It’s the second largest after Ruaha National Park which has 20,226 square Kilometers and consists of grass land plains and savannah as well and forest, rocky hills and wood lands. Serengeti mean” in the local vernacular Maasai word originated which mean the “endless plain.
